International Event Support (Arts & Media Communications) is the bilingual course in English and Dutch for vmbo graduates with ambitions around the organisation side of culture and the arts - including music, theatre, dance, museums, film or TV.

The organisation, production and distribution of cultural events are evolving rapidly. The result is a cultural workplace that generates a range of exciting tasks and responsibilities. Specialised event companies organise song festivals, dance parties, and entertainment shows. Museums are dynamic organisers of international cultural events and theme shows realising substantial turnover. Digital image distribution expands apace - giving birth to countless services. If it is to transform creative ideas into successful productions, this new industry will need a large number of qualified people. With International Event Support you will get the chance to work in a exciting international scene.

IES: Roadmap to your Career
An International Event Support diploma is an excellent step to a career in the national or global industry. The course also gives you the English skills you need for a Dutch college equivalent degree (hbo / bachelor degree). For example: International Business and Languages (International Business Relations manager) Public Relations, Arts en Media Management.

What previous education is required?

Meeting one of these requirements is enough to qualify:
