The duration of the course is 2 to 3 years. The programme is structured across 2 years, with an internship of approximately five months in year 2. Assessment takes place periodically throughout the programme both at school and during your internship. In the

At MBO College Amstelland, the international component of the programme is powered by Coursera: the world's leading online learning platform. You will complete certified courses from universities and companies such as the University of Michigan, the University of Pennsylvania, Adobe and Google. These are the same courses followed by university students and working professionals around the world. Completing these certificates is a mandatory and integral part of your programme. Dutch programme
At the same time, you are following the Dutch programme. Subjects include Dutch language, English, citizenship and career coaching. You will complete an internship of approximately five months, which can also be done abroad. You can also choose from elective modules such as building your own webshop, introduction to entrepreneurship and Business Innovation.

Curriculum and career prospects
This course prepares you for international middle management positions. Core subjects include Customer Journey, Marketing, Account Planning and Sales, mostly taught with real-world projects in collaboration with national and international companies. The English-taught programme is built around International Business units from Pearson BTEC in the United Kingdom; an internationally respected qualification that prepares you for today’s global workplace. BTEC Programme
You will study through hands-on assignments and real-life business cases using digital learning materials from the internationally oriented BTEC programme. Once you successfully complete all units, you will earn your BTEC International Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.

Dutch Programme
Alongside the international programme, you will follow the Dutch curriculum, including subjects such as Dutch language and career coaching. This ensures you are fully prepared for the Dutch labour market and professional environment.
