With a diploma from your secondary school, you are always welcome on one of our MBO programmes. Your previous education
determines at which level you can be enrolled. For some courses, additional requirements apply (see below for more information).
The additional requirements for the aviation industry relate to your physical fitness and apply equally to men and women: length 1.58 m - 1.90 m, eye strength -5/+5; swimming diploma A (only for cabin crew).

Conditions to get a VGB are: good behaviour, i.e. no contact with the law, 10 years of continuous residence in the Netherlands, a Dutch passport, or a residence permit in combination with a foreign passport.
Airlines usually have the following uniform regulations: no visible tattoos or piercings; no tooth decoration;
no head covering.
This training has mandatory introductory activities. You will receive more information after your registration.
- Eligibility check for a Schiphol pass
- Completion of an introduction form (here you can indicate if you have any supervisory needs or learning disabilities)
- Introductory meeting: to check the above requirements; do a group assignment, as well as an aviation codes assignment; and an introductory meeting

Once you have completed education at level 4, you can continue your studies at hbo. For example, you can easily join the following programmes: Hbo Communicatie, hbo Hoger Toerisme en Recreatief Onderwijs (HTRO) and the Hoger Hotelschool.
In addition to the legally determined tuition/course
fees, you will have to take into account additional costs for learning materials and perhaps some extras.
For most courses, you will need books. A laptop might also be a specific requirement.
Depending on your course, you might also need special software or clothing.
All curriculums are designed to help you enter the labour market as well prepared as possible. This may mean that we organise excursions or master classes for which you will have to pay an additional charge. We also believe it is important for you to buy your own learning materials so that you can practise after school hours. We keep the costs as low as possible without compromising quality. Any additional costs are determined in consultation with the student representative board. If the costs are a problem and you need help, there are several forms of financial support.
